Why you get the smell and taste of Bornholm
Few places in Denmark can boast of more varied landscapes than Bornholm. With its long, white beaches and dramatic, rocky coastlines, the deep forests and windy highland plains, Bornholm is a real treasure-trove when it comes to fruits, berries, and flowers. We pick and gather ingredients everywhere in the rocky island.
Small batch demands more love
We distill our liquor in “Lilly”, the small 200-litre pot still at the distillery in Rønne. This we dilute with good Bornholm water. Everything is made by hand, and we only produce small batches, so that we are able to monitor the taste continuously till it is exactly to our liking.
